Funding Social Optics
for Your School District

How can I use ESSER funding to pay for Social Optics?
There is $122 billion available for States and school districts through the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funding. ESSER III money has to be fully expended by September 30, 2024.

20% of the local distribution must be spent to address learning loss by supporting the implementation of evidenced based interventions. The state and local districts must also ensure such interventions respond to students’ academic, social, and emotional needs and address the disproportionate impact of the coronavirus on economically disadvantaged students; students from major racial or ethnic groups; children with disabilities; English learners; homeless; in foster care; and students with a parent in the armed forces.

This ESSER III funding can be used to support your students through the Social Optics curriculum.
